88 2.8 V6


Ok Ive read on how to adjust the tps over and over. Using a VOM

I ground the black and I probe the blue middle wire on the TPS connector.
I get a 4.98 volts with no throttle opened at all I slide it up and down and the voltage goes up to 5.00 but never lower.

Ive also tried using the grey wire to make sure had proper voltage and its all over the place. Ive tried 3 diffrent tps sensors and 2 diffrent multi-meters.

Any ideas on whats causing this?

 

Ok ive tried just about every thing and still havent turned up any anwsers what so ever. I am getting 4.98 volts on the dark blue wire. I even traced the wire back to the ECM and probed it there and still got 4.98 volts.

I am getting 5 volts on the grey wire.
