Engine: 5.0L 305 v8
Transmission: 700r4
Axle/Gears: not to sure sorry new to this
1991 firebird shift light
Ok i took out the center console to get to the little light under the shifter to light up the window that shows what gear im in.. the ? is how do i get that little light out of the socket to replace it and what am i looking for to buy a new one. part name or number would help thanks

i may need that info. as well, when i bought mine the wire had been cut and don't know where it hooks back up to, anyone with that info?

There you guys go i just did mine! Sylvania Mini bulb part number # 74LL available at autozone. Mine was just snapped in like a connector, it popped right out. Its a very small small bulb inside.
Blackpaint- not sure about cut wires as mine was connected. Check to see if they were split for some reason & reconnect.
