rear main seal gaskets question

Engine: built 355, 450HP
Transmission: built 700r4
Axle/Gears: 3.27
rear main seal gaskets question
I removed my engine a couple of months ago and am now in the process of putting things back together. The problem is i don't know where the one complete circular gasket goes. This would be the one that has like 9 bolts that go thru it and has a flat side on it? Anyone know where this gasket goes??

sounds about right for bolt holes but arent most of them u shaped?

sorry, its a one piece rear main seal kit and it comes with two gaskets. sorry cant get any pics till morning.

Ok thanks, thats what I thought. Its the only gasket I remember seeing when it came apart a couple months ago!

If I remember correctly, when I got the kit for my car, I had a v6 one and a v8 one in the same kit.
