Check the oil pressure sending unit. Drivers side next to the distributor. The car will probably need to be running for you to see it leaking.

Re: mystery oil leak source

put some oil leak detector in your oil and put dem glasses on, probably the easiest way to find the source of the leak and fast.

If you can get a mirror in there you will see the leak source anyway?

Re: mystery oil leak source

yes, because all you need to do is darken the place or wait till night and put on the glasses that come with the leak detecting fluid and it should light off, not hard to find man
