I have a 1982 z28 and I bought it without a wiper motor. I'm not sure what wiper motor i should buy, iv'e tried to buy one before but it was the wrong one. if someone could please tell me that it would be of great help. Also if someone has pictures of how it all goes together or has a website that shows/tells me it would be even better thank you!

 

goto o'reilly auto or what ever and ask them for the one for your car. do you have delay wipers? thats about the only option. they may ask with or without the red wire, just say yes. its all the same.

 

'82 and '83 thirdgens use the bigger '60s design wiper
motors-motors from late 2nd gen or G-bodies should be
the same or close enough to work-the park mechanism
my original motor got messed up and caused the wipers
to sweep past the A pillar,so i used a motor from an '82
G-body Grand Prix-took the washer pump off and used
a flat gearbox cover from a '78 camaro wiper motor-
seems late 2nd gens had a seperate washer pump,my
'82 does now too
