What type of motor oil to use?
I have a 85 camaro with a rebuilt 87 camaro 305 tpi engine. The rebuilt engine has 170,000 miles on it....
Ever since I put in Vavoline 10w-30 oil....my car just doesn't seem right. What type of oil should I put in?

It is a personal choice but just for your information my Boy has miles like that and he likes to use the high millage oil they have come out with.

I used valvoline 10w-30 for a year or two, then went straight 30. Rebuilding the motor atm, will run rotella straight 30 until i swap to rotella synthetic.

thats alot of miles. i would consider a straight weight oil as suggested above. rottela has a good reputation. you should have a roller motor so no need to worry about zddp additives.
