Re: Guess what this is!

nah pcv is hooked up allready... checked the vacum diagram for this car all is conected.. canistor pcv EGR... only thing not is the intake valve that switches from cold air to hot air... hot being from the intake manifolds... and the smog pump... but smog pump just sends hot gasses from manifolds to cat.. so ill worry about that later

Car: Yes
Engine: Usually
Transmission: Sometimes
Axle/Gears: Behind me somewhere
Re: Guess what this is!

It's just a fitting... the vacuum line that carries vacuum to the car's accessories (specifically, the HVAC control head) hooks up there.

OR... reconnect the vacuum accessory system up to it so that your HVAC vents and cruise control can operate correctly.

Re: Guess what this is!

Reconnect and/or replace the missing parts. A u pull it JY is a good source of pieces/parts and you can usually figure out how they back on after seeing how they came off. At least two near you: Ecology, and pick a part on energy way, both in Chula Vista, CA

Re: Guess what this is!

My bad...I meant MAP. I've got an "E" 305 TBI and I was looking as the vacuum routing diagram was set up.

Re: Guess what this is!

The MAP connects to a port at the rear of the throttle body. Sofakingdom is correct. That fitting is for accessory vacuum. If you don't use the accessories that it was connected to. Keep it capped.
