None of Comp's Thumpr cams for SBCs have lift specs of .520/540" Is this a fantasy build, or is this a running combo? You can get desktop dragstrip programs to predict results.

"...edelbrock high rise intake..." What is that, exactly?

Cam duration means more than lift. What are the duration #'s?

I assume you'll run mid-14's, assuming you don't run out of RPMs before the finish line.

One sure way to find out is to take it to the track.

Re: What numbers should I see at the track

Well....if he runs a mid 13 and traps say...101, he'll be spinning ~5900 RPM when he crosses the line.

We really know squat about this combo;
305 stock bore
350 vortec heads had heads cut Don't know compression
edelbrock high rise intake What does this mean?
1.6 roller rockers
comp lifters
thumper cam 520 540 lift duration. Duration what?? What duration?
650 holly double pumper Little big for a 305, IMO
msd 6al 6700 rev limit msd dist msd wires auto light plugs.
Full 3 inch exhaust shorty headers and y pipe
all ac removed honey comb and metal support removed replaced with aluminum WTF??
all wires gutted computer no smog etc
700r4 built shift kit also 3000stall converter B&m shifter
10 bolt rear 4.56 gears
275/60/15 mt et streets very sticky
4gen seats stock carpet etc full Lakewood suspension disc brakes all around summit spring set lowers 1/1/2 .

I'm guessing that we're talking about a 220hp, low compression 305 here. I don't see mid 13's crossing the line at 5900 RPM in this guys near future.

To the OP NEED MORE INFO. OR...take it to the track and tell us how it did.
