i have the 2.73 posi rear gear set up, its stock im trying to find a shop in Massachusetts to get gears changed to the 3.42 i have the gears and install kit but im not attempting to do it myself... i do NOT know enough about cars

Where in Massachusetts are ya ?

Cause if your near the Rhode Island border , there is a place called "Rhode Island Shaft" that does transmission , Driveshaft , And differential repairs . I learned of them back when I put a modern 5.0 into a 63 Galaxie , and my driveshaft came up 3" short . They custom fabricated me a new one for a reasonable price , and so I can recommend them .
