Well my buddy gave me his engine he got but never used it. Its a old summit block. 355 4bolt main, 2p rms. I called summit today and got some info.

It was a long block with 58 cc heads 22 cc dish pistons with a CR of 9.2 to1. The cam specs I got was 454 lift, 272 dur, 112° lsa. He said it was rated at a massive 225hp and about 400ft tq.

Now I was gonna put my HSR and 113 vet heads, 1.52 rollor tip rockers.
And was thinking about comp cam 12-242-2 swap.
Will this be a good set up or the cam power band is to low for the HSR

 

You are still going to have the same low(ish) CR because 113 heads are the same 58cc chambers.
You would make more power if you could get the CR up ;

 

I know that why it didn't make much power but that's all I have for now. I'm not trying to put a ton of mony in my engine I'm going lq4 when I move out of state
