reoccurring problem

ok i have posted about this before, here is the link https://www.thirdgen.org/forums/tech...need-help.html
since then i have changed out the module, all new cooling system, new intake due to a screw extractor being broke off, and just last week new wires which helped cause now the car isnt so violent when it wants to act up. i have been chasing this problem since i got the car. and whats gets me, is that when it does act up for a couple of mins my ses light comes on for one quick second and then its gone i tried plugging up my dad odb1 hypertech computer scanner and nothing comes up, now my ses light has come on while it was plugged up but still didnt catch the code. im at a total loss.. in thinkin maybe i need a new dizzy, because every time i mess around with it in some way the prob goes away for a week but then comes back and none of this ever happens during the winter only the summer time when its hot. so please help me out! i want to make it to the Texas third gen meet.

Re: reoccurring problem

Maybe the distributor connectors are needing attention.

Re: reoccurring problem

I goin to do that tomorrow. I was reading earlier that some guy changed his knock sensors out and it fixed his timing problem.i know I that I had/have a timIng prob and that's cause of this madness.and I have basically checked all my vaccumm lines and dizzy and set my timing back to zero.the only other things I can think of would be tbi injectors or my knock sensors..Which I'm thinking more of my knock sensor cause when I warm up my car before leaving runs fine but when I turn it off for a second and turn it on that's when it wants to act up. My theory is that knock sensor equals cool equals runs fine when hot vise versa
