PCV/Breather Question - Oil Leak?
Heres the deal. I have a fresh 350 vortec that I just put in my 92 RS. Everything runs great except I have a small oil leak out of the front of the oil pan gasket only after the car is warmed up and running. I believe I am having a crankcase ventilation issue and excessive pressure is building up and pushing oil out of my oil pan gasket?
I am running two breathers, one on each valve cover. Should I try a PCV system? The breathers are old and seem to be filled with oil.
Suggestions?

Update*
Put a PCV system back on the car and the oil leak as subsided. I guess I was right, crankcase gas pressures were building, pushing oil out of the oil pan gasket.

That's interesting. I'm getting a similar leak and i know my line from the carb to the PCV is not making a good seal, I'll have to replace it and see if I get any improvement.

Definitely worth a shot. That short piece of 3/8" hose is cheap. Plus that means you have a vacuum leak.
