TPI questions (already did search)
I have the next few days off of work, so id like to hit some junkyards.
Other than 3rd gen fbodies, what other vehicles had tpi engines? I read somewhere that some trucks and i believe caprices did? Any other vehicles?
does an lt1 TB have a bigger bore that the tpi's? Or is it better for any reason?

85-92 F-body's vin f and 8, 85-91 Y-bodys vin 8 , the lt1 has the same 48mm tb the linkage will not allow a tv cable too hookup, the iac and tps connectors are different but will work on a tpi.

I actually did do a search, even did a google search but didnt find anything useful. I just forgot to mention it.
(actually i did mention it, in the title)

Re: TPI questions (already did search)
They had the 4L60E so no TV cable needed to trans
If you look at the TB listings there are 3 year distinct styles
Early TPI with carb stud type cable connection ( and TV cable)
Late TPI / early LT1 with the quadrant cable mount ( and TV cable)
Late LT1 with same cable attachment but no TV cable stud ( the cable bracket for the intake is different also )
