The noise was not bad at first, but really bad now. Not sure if it is the water pump or steering pump or something else all together. Any ideas?
Thank you for your help in advance

Get a long breaker bar or piece of a wood broom stick, &
CAREFULY put 1 end on a suspect component, your ear to the other end.
Keep it away from moving parts like pullies, belts, fans...
Kinda sounds like a bearing going // gone bad-- alt, pwr steering pump, water pump, tensioner. iPhone sound quality leaves alot to be desired! Lol!!
Sorry not much help, that's all I can come up with.

it sounds like one of the piston's (im not extremely technical), the rods that connect to the piston, it sounds like its loose and hitting the inside wall around the piston (like i said, im not extremely technical), mine used to make a simialar noise and changing oil fixed mine, but yours is way more serious, and if it got worse with time, it would make sense that more running would make the rod more loose. Good luck

WOW!!!
Big difference from iphone to desk top sound!!
Agree with RoRoYboat-- sounds alot like it's about to throw a rod
OR
valve train problems.
Check the oil dipstick for metalic shimmer & girt.
Do you recall if you had oil pressure, and how much?
