87 camaro leaks fuel from starter?
I'm posting this for my cousin who just recently bought a 87 camaro, he gave it a full tune up got it started and all. then instead of changing a bad solenoid he replaced the whole starter since it was old and had rusted and was even corroding, after changing it he tried to start it and it turned over but didn't start. when he got out of the car he smell gas and check under the car. and there was gas coming from the area of the starter. is it a problem with the starter or maybe something else?

Don't try to start it.
Check all fuel lines & connections. Replace as needed.
