HELP !!! Where is 6 degrees BTC on a L69?
Trying to set the timing on my L69. I noticed with the timing light that there are 4 to 5 (hard to tell, kind of dirty down there in the crankcase) triangular blade shapes. Which one do I shoot for? I cannot see any numbers associated with the triangles. The white painted line on the groove is clearly visible.
I already heard about the finger int he spark plug hole method, but I'd rather do it with the timing light...Spent some $$$ on the light, you know...like to think its useful.

That's a great picture. Interesting that it shows 6 degrees at the 10 degree mark. Of course, 10 degrees is generally a better setting for stock TPI than the OE 6 degrees.

Thanks for saying that ASE! I was thinking the same thing and was going to post but you beat me to it. It is odd!
