Head Gasket

Repacing the gasket on my V6 Firebird. On the manual it says to install the gasket with the writing facing up but the gaskets have writing on both sides so am confussed. I have attached a picture. Which way does it go on. The only difference between both sides is one side has the silver part between the rings. So which side faces down onto the engine block, the one on the left or the one on the right.

Thanks.

Re: Head Gasket

With those, the one on the left is in the right orientation.

Okay just to confirm, the side with the silver between the rings faces the head and not the engine block.
