well i have a 1991 z28 with the 350 in it/lately it has been stalling when coming to a stop/i have replaced the distributor/ fuel pump/plugs /wires/numinous sensors/lol and just about everything else/am at a stop/ i read in here that the speed sensor will cause this problem it was awhile ago and i cant find the thread/is this true /the speed sensor is shot so will probably replace any ways/but i would appreciate any other ideas that you alll have Thanks to anyone replying any ideas would be most helpful DjjD

 

I have this same problem can someone please help us? I've replaced Button, Cap, Pick-up and Ignition Coil, cleaned out TPS Sensor. I'm confused when I get paid I'll change plugs and wires but would they go bad when warmed up but not when cool?

 

Unless the wires are arcing or damaged, I wouldn't think that would be the problem. Have you guys checked your vacuum lines for cracks and leaks?

 

I had a similar issues and it turned out be the injectors.

sounds like a vacuum leak. go through all your lines. is throwing an SES light?

 

no m8 funny not showing any ses light /but funny thing is when i replaced the speed senser the problem has mostly gone away /it still happens on occasion but very seldom/going to have to go with a vacuum leak seems the most probable/then injectors>want to thank everyone for the input will get back to you all with results ahh the wonders of working in a f body car lol /ahh have another ? had the exhast system replaced with what was supposed to be a oem system but when i got under the beast they had put in a exhaust for the 305 instead of the proper one /would this cause backpressure issues causing it to stall out just wondering oh well back to the shop /enjoy your day everyone thanks again djjd
