Strange Noise
I have a 92 RS, and when im at a certain point in accerleration, there is a whistling like noise, almost sounds like a bad bearing. But when the gas pedal is beyond that point and before it, the noise isnt there... ive spun a few pulleys and the water pump pulley was making a rubbing noise and i replaced the whole pump with no change. Suggestions?

What kind of air intake do you have? It could just be the air flowing just right making it whistle.

Re: Strange Noise
I have an open circle filter. Kinda thought it may have something to do with that cause that's where the noise could be coming from. I'll check it out

Welcome to the world of open element filters
I've ran an open element K&N on the end of my intake for years, and there always has, and always will be that distinct, unmistakable whistling/sucking sound..
Just something that comes with the territory
