Poor sealing at gas cap
Poor sealing at gas cap
I have gas coming out the filler neck when I take right turns and the tank is more than 2/3 full. Looks like the filler neck has slight damage to it probably when the pump was changed. Thought about trying to tap it flat with a hammer but concerned about sparks near the tank. Any suggestions on how I can flatten the sealing surface?

Use brass hammers or hard plastic. Try to put a seal in the tank neck b4 you start
