Only starting when cold.. Ignition module? Coil? Cap?
I replaced the starter thinking it would solve my problems but it didn't. The car starts fine after it's been sitting for awhile, but after running it for just 15 minutes and shutting it down it won't turn over. The new starter sounds good and is cranking but it won't go further than that... Any ideas? or similar problems???
thanks in advance

is it FI or carb?? i had an 81 camaro that did the same and after a carb rebuild it stopped , for some reason the carb was flooding the engine when it was hot

First thing to check if its carb: Check the choke to make sure its functioning, and functioning properly. Try adjusting the choke while someone else trys starting it and see if it makes any difference.
Check spark plugs, running too lean/rich?
Check fuel pressure
I dont think its coil, if it was it most likely wouldnt give you the problem only when hot.
Any check engine light/codes?

Very common for old electrical parts to fail when heated up , but be fine when cold
The ICM inside the dist for example is well known for this.Resistance in a coil can change ( breaking down ) when hot

It is an EFI motor no carb
It's not firing, it is cranking though
I'm going to try and replace The ICM and coil and see if that solves my problem
Vetteoz I found the article as well, that's what made me believe it was the ICM
