classic industries gearbox??

classic industries gearbox??
so i recently bought a 2.5 lock to lock gear box but i realized when i tested out my current one that i have is less than 2 turns is this normal? will there be to much play in the steering? thanks in advance.

There should not be any slop in your steering it will just be 2.5 turns lock to lock.

its weird because by current steering is 1.5 turns from lock to lock. but the tightest ratio i could find on classic is 2.5

You could put the new one in while the one from your car was rebuilt.
