Bogging/hesitating when accelerating from stop b/c of low idle?
The AC didn't work on my car when I purchased it so I replaced the AC compressor and it works now. However, when the AC is on it will hesitate/bog when accelerating from a stop.
Could this be because of a low idle? My car has no tach so I don't know if my idle is too low but turning on the AC definately changes my idle speed.
Thanks.

Sounds like a bad idle stop solenoid or you may not even have one? Check to make sure that the idle stop solenoid on the drivers side of the carb is working. It is what increases throttle when the engine is under load, like the A/C compressor.
