Dipstick tube not fitting into 383 stroker

Hey guys,

I just built a 383 stroker and now I can't get the dipstick tube to fit into it. I'm using the dipstick that came with my 305 but I reused it with my 350 without any problems.

My engine builder install a block girdle. Could it be hitting that?

Does it have a hole drilled for the dipstick?
