What does this marking mean by pass headlight?

Hey gang - 88 GTA. I've been wondering what this metal stamp means on my frame. It's under the hood right behind the passenger headlamp. It's not on the engine, so I can only assume it's not an engine code. And it looks like there was another marking underneath it at one point. Can anyone tell me what this means? Thanks gang!
