Engine temp gauge question/troubleshooting

I have a 1984 TA with an LG4 engine. The engine temp gauge does not read the temp at all now; just rests at 100 degrees, the low end of the range. My guess is that there is a sensor somewhere in the engine that is inop or has become disconnected. Thanks in advance for any suggestions on how to troubleshoot.

Re: Engine temp gauge question/troubleshooting

I have the same problem. I believe it's the white capped sensor in between the number 6 and 8 spark plugs. Check yours.
