e3 plugs and smog

ive heard from a smog tech that e3 plugs actually hurt the chances of passing smog, but ive heard on tv and online that those plugs are supposed to help reduce emissions? anyone actually have done side by side tests or passed with them?

Re: e3 plugs and smog

If the weight of your wallet can affect emissions, then maybe those plugs can invoke that effect.

The fuel either burns, or it does not. Have you ever lit a fireplace? Does the fire burn hotter or more completely if you start it with a match compared to a lighter or even a MAPP gas torch? (that's what I often use because I'm lazy) Sure, it might start up faster; but is the burning of the logs more COMPLETE?

Keep your money in your pocket. The ONLY WAY those plugs will decrease emissions, increase gas mileage, or ANYTHING ELSE, is if they are replacing worn-out ones. In which case, regular stock replacements will accomplish THE EXACT SAME THING.

no ive used those plugs, and there great. even for 5 bucks each, a little better power and mileage. i think about 10hp, and 2mpg. its what i use in all my vehicles. my 350 benefited from these.
