So theres been a 88 camaro v6 sitting in my backyard for about 5 yrs now. It used to be my brothers but one day he just parked it back there and that was the end of it. What I do no is, when there was a battery in there and you tried to turn it witht the key, nothing would happen, the lights comes on and so forth, but nothing happens. No spark no crank nothing. So its stayed like that until now which I want to see if it can still turn over or maybe turn on. The good news is the motor isnt locked up. It turns fine, I checked it earlier today. So where do I start to try to get this baby beast back on the road. Of course I know the battery, but from there where do I go. I checked to see if there was oil and nothing showed up on the dip stick. Do i have to change the oil, get new spark plugs, etc. Im not a mechanic but I aint dumb with vehicles iether.
