Ground question

I'm troubleshooting an electrical problem. Based on info obtained on this site, the firewall ground should be attached to the passenger side head. Mine is attached to the fuel rail(l98 TPI). Is this correct?

Looks like you just answered your own question all by yourself, which hardly even needed to be asked.

Furthermore, given that it only takes a couple of seconds to reassemble the car properly, it took longer to make that post than it would have to just put it back together right and see if it helps.

However, it's not likely that having it like that is SO bad, that the car would materially malfunction because of it. But I guess that depends on the malfunction you're enjoying.
