It dropped down really cold, last week. It had been a turn key start car. Last thursday leaving work, It had a really rough start up idel. it warmed up and ran normal. I couldnt get it to crank saturday. well it did, an then it cut off. it had kindof a hard loaping idel. It finally crunk I had my truck hooked with jumpers after i put a new batt. old one still under warranty, but any way. I had to give it full throutle, keep it reved up, warm it up. finally i could take my foot off the gas, it was idelin around 500rmp kina low for normal. I noticed the oil pressure was sitting low, just at top of red. i cut it off & restart, oil pressurelow an drops and motor shuts off. I smelled a little gas when i had it running. looked around on the forum. going to change the oil filter, I have some plugs that had collecting dust for a year that im finally going to install. Grab some wires an cap button. an see what happens Not a mechanic, or a spelling bee champion, but im leaning towards a fauled out plug.. I hope, that what it is. Stood in front of the motor an checked a few of the 1000 vacume lines.... its a carbed stock 305. any suggestions? i know my desciption is not as good as a video or sound file.. i think when it first started the idel was surging / knocking 750- surge to 1500,
