I drove to Wal-Mart yesterday and when I went to turn on my car it wouldn't start. it would ignite for like 2 seconds then turn off. WHAT I'VE DONE; I replace fuel pump and relay as well as the filter. While I was at Wal-Mart I used starting fluid to get it running just to make it home. the next day was when I did the install of pump, relay, filter.

after install it turned on fine no problems, but I noticed a hesitation as I would slow down for a stop, at another stop same hesitation but this time it turns off. I noticed a pin sized hole in tank when I installed the pump but didn't think it went through all the way, but I guess fumes are coming out of that hole. I need any suggestions on what else could be the problem. so I would greatly appreciate any help. thanks in advance.
