can this 350 be bore out
Got this block for 100.00 . Starting to tear it down and the number 1 cylinder look like this . Do you think 30 over will clear it up ? here are pics of it.

Probably but it's up to the machine shop to make that final decision.

Is that a huge crack running halfway around the bore, or does it just look that way in the pic?

Looks like a rust stain? A hone will take most of that out but you may still have a dark spot.
