Fittings

I have a 4 core radiator, the threaded connectors are on the sides of the plastic tank, which limits the space to get a transmission line into it. I was wondering if anyone knows of elbow fittings that will screw into the radiator and also fit the lines from the transmission and where I might be able to get some, thank you

Axle/Gears: Behind me somewhere
Re: Fittings

They're 5/16" inverted flare; a very common size.

Good parts stores will have them.

Re: Fittings

So I'd need 5/16" inverted flare on both ends?

Re: Fittings

Yup; preferably one of those "swivel" things. Male to female. (yeah I'm a perv)

Check Summit, Jeg's, & your local speed shop as well.

Sorry to drag this on, but could this possibly work?

Re: Fittings

Unfortunately, no...

That's 1/8" pipe to 5/16" "common" (non-inverted) flare. Neither end is the right thing.

Fittings for the common carb fuel line sizes aren't as popular as they once were; but that's where you need to be looking. Fuel line fittings. A lot of carbs had that size and type of lines and fittings.

Re: Fittings

If anyone can help me locate one of these 5/16" Inverted flare elbows I would greatly appreciate it. I'm having a headache of a time trying to find something like this.
