Rocker Arm Question

Hi I am using a Lunati 276/284 cam with a .504/.525 lift, a 110 LSA and 106 ICL, and a rpm range of 2200-6400. It is going into a street motor (350 carb) that will see the strip (just for fun) about once or twice a year. I am wondering if I should mix match rocker ratio like 1.5 and then 1.6 or just go 1.6 across the board. And I do understand what a higher ratio rocker arm does I just want to know what you guys would suggest. Thanks.

P.S if anyone knows what brand/length of pushrods I should use for this cam let me know. Thanks. I don't have guide plates because I am using vortec heads with self aligning rocker arms.

1.6 rockers are usually a crutch for wrong cam selection, as someone far smarter the me has told me many times, its hard enough making a hyd flat cam live without the added geometry issues going to 1.6 rockers.
As for your pushrod question....

Re: Rocker Arm Question

Personally...if you just plan on hitting the strip once or twice a year...I would always run 1.5's and the day you hit the track...throw on the 1.6's for intake and re-tune it...just a thought.

Alright thanks. Looks like I should use 1.5 Also for the majority of stock 350 SBC will that lift that I mentioned above (.504/.525) clear the PTV? I am not using stock springs so I am not worried about that. I am just wondering about the PTV clearance.

Flat tops? Or small dish, no issue with ptv

Re: Rocker Arm Question

Haven't bought the block yet. Doing a lot of research and figuring out what I want before I go and spend any money. So with either type of stock piston I should have no issues with ptv? I've decided to use a 1.5 to keep everything on the safe side.
