This one is a confusing one. My battery is brand new. Alternator is new and has a voltage of +- 14 volts in idle. When the Camaro is "cold", she cranks fine. But when after I turn off the IROC after a good 1/2 hour of driving, she wont crank at all. Voltage is normal. No click or anything. Then after a couple hours of cooling down, she will turn over and start? What may be the issue here?

I used to have a similar issue. Mine was over heated starter with my timing being too far advanced.

FYI, they do make a head shroud that mounts around the solenoid. I bought one for mine and seemed to help.

had a similar problem. coil was going bad. just another option if options a and b dont work
