Yeah, that's totally going to get you a positive response..
You asked a vague question when we literally know 0 about what you have. Explain to me how that warrants a good answer? The lack of responses indicates you asked a bad question that isn't worth responding to.

Don't know much about the newer dart heads but I have a set of the older first design of iron eagles on a 355 that turns mid 12's.

Attitude??. Here's your answer. There no one part that is going to make a difference on it's own.It is either a matched parts build or a jumbled parts turd.
Now if you want to learn something on here and open up to what you have, then more people then time you can spare will reply from qualified members.Other than that, the answers you get are no further ahead then when you asked the question.

Nuff said.

Don't get all pissy because you don't get it.
Dart makes 19 different SS head PNs that will work on a SBC so don't get all pissed off because you gave little to no information.
Also crane makes more than one cam so we might want to know that PN as well. It could be anything from mild to wild we don't know because YOU did not tell us.
We don't even know if they are going on a 305.
You want to know gains without giving information then I would guess somewhere between -150 to +150 hp
Jesus you ask questions like my wife.
Honey my cars making a noise
What does it sound like?
I don’t know
When does it happen?
I don’t know
Does it happen while breaking?
I don’t know
Is it a clunking sound?
I don’t know
Is it a whirling sound?
I don’t know
Does it happen only at high speeds?
I don’t know
Low speeds?
I don’t know
So when does it happen!?
NEVERMIND YOU DON'T KNOW WHATS WRONG JUST FORGET IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Re: Who's running Dart Iron Eagle SS heads
heres a tip if youre interested in getting these, douchegloves
these heads are rebranded and sold as summit racing's house brand iron heads. they punch them out and put bigger valves in them.
still the same small 165cc runner flow about 10-15cfm less than vortecs on the intake
better chamber design vs oe heads, good dart casting quality
probably support 385hp MAX unported...

Re: Who's running Dart Iron Eagle SS heads
His information says 1984 5.0... why would he be looking into one of the cheaper sets of heads if he didn't have a relatively stock motor or at least stock heads on said motor?
And truthfully with just heads and no cam or rhyme or reason you WILL gain power with those heads over stockers. While the top of the motor is apart and since you have to adjust the valves anyway at that point, you might as well do a cam thats more appropriate for those heads too.

My iroc has a 5.7l. I've posted info all over this site about the car. It has what is believed a crane 2032 cam? Not even sure. The previous owner did the cam and had swirl port ti heads on it....yuck
