My 91 Camaro z28 305 wont start. The battery and starter are fine. I started a few times but ran rough. It bogged and didnt want to idle smoothly. Is this a computer or fuel issue?

When you turn the key, can you hear the fuel pump kick in? If you have the door open, you should hear the whine of it kicking in.

Is it getting fuel up front? Injectors- how old are they, and are they clean?
Has it been tuned up lately- I've had something as simple as a cap and rotor keep a vehicle from running.
Sometimes it's best to start with the simple things first, and go from there.

 

I have done a tune up. Ill listen for the fuel pump. No idea on the injectors. Does crank but it wont fire up

 

ok it started up. it may be a bad coil

 

Hope that's all it is. Make sure you get a good quality one- I've had good luck with Napa- nothing but issues from Carquest/Autozone.

I had a vehicle that the magnet cracked in several places in the distributor and caused it to run rough, or not want to start.
