Ok here's the deal 89 firebird formula 305 tpi. I was having issues with the engine running crappy and stalling after 5 -6 minutes of driving and I was told to replace injectors. I did I bought new Bosch 3 injectors and replaced them. While doing so I also did new rotor cap plugs and wires and also a new fuel filter. So my problem now is my engine starts and idles very rough and the car has no power what so ever if I gas it it will take 30 seconds to go through 2nd gear (5 spd ) any ideas? Other than what I said I haven't touched anything. I did gut cats but that wouldn't cause it and fuel pump replaced 4 years ago. O sorry new maf as well. Thanks for your help guys

start with the basics. check plug wires and make sure you don't have them crossed and check your new plugs for proper gap and cracks. Make sure plug wires are firmly seated on plugs and cap. try shorting out one cyl at a time by disconnecting injector connectors to see if all cylinders are contributing equally. Maybe that can get you pointed in the right direction.

 

Ok ill start with that and nope no light on. I was also thinking vacuum leak but ill start there

 

Have you checked the fuel pressure and swept the tps or data logged ? Is it acting the same after the injector swap ?

 

Not acting the same it used to not even start now its starts and idles at 1k rpm for a minute then drops to 3-400 rpm. I was thinking IAC valve but it has no power while driving. It will rev fine all through the rpms while in neutral but once driving no power at all
