Hope i am posting in the right category. I found a 1984 Z28 for sale, 34 k miles.....But car has sat for 8 years!. ....and never started or driven in that span of time! ..However car is running now to show. What am i needing to look of for?

 

With that low miles...

Make sure it's not a bottom-of-the-line car, like a LG4, and that it's ALL THERE.

It's not going to "run" "good"; prolly won't run at all. Doesn't too much matter. That's not a daily-driver type of situation.

Just make sure that all the pieces are present and accounted for, and in good shape.

Be prepared to call a roll-back wrecker to get it home. Don't even HALLUCINATE you're going to drive it.

 

Thanks for reply! actually the car is running and driving now as he changed all fluids and put in a new battery. Its actually an HO ..I checked the VIN for the "G" Just wondering if a motor and trans can sit that long and not show some issues later.Its not puffing smoke now...Now i say of course
