want higher top end, and more hp

ok, i bought the car for 4500. it has eld headers and pos trackion. it is a 91 z28 the pre owner said it has a 350 but stickers read 305 tpi. 350 would pull harder! the speedomiter does not work until driving for 25 mins in car. the car does not shift correctly because i belive pre owner changed rear end diff to a drag race gear. IT is shift with a b&m shiftter with 1,2,3, and D, but does not shift into overdrive. it is a rabbit car and will take ofF strong for 0-60 after that it gets it *** kicked. i want taller gears and want to keep the orginal enigne but upgrade this 305 with a stronger bottom end and top end to the motor. ANY SUGGESTIONS ON GEARING THE REAR END OR TRANS, AND KEEPING THE ORGINAL COMPUTER IN THE CAR AND POWERING UP THIS ***** 305 240 HORSE MAYBE MOTOR. I REALLY DON'T WANT TO SWAP MOTORS, FUEL INJECTORS, COMPUTERS, AND CHANGE ALL EVERYTHING, OR I WOULD CUT OUT THE COMPUTER AND RUN A CARBERATORED MOTOR BUT I WANT FUEL INJECTED ONRGINAL CAR.

Dont waste youre time sell the car seriously.
Youre looking for something that isnt there and you are going to have to change a LOT to make everything work properly. It costs money lots of it.

Modding cars is a slippery slope takes $ time frustration doing things twice etc etc. I dont think youre ready for it yet. Just being honest from reading your post.

Based on what you DONT want to do, sell the car and get something else.
