Car: 89 formula

Engine: bolt on 305 tpi

Transmission: 700r

Axle/Gears: 342 posi

will it work?

im about to have a 30 over long block with 416 heads and flat top pistons, will the compcams xe262 cam work with this combo? the heads are bone stock with 1.84 intake 1.50 ex valves...would it be worth my time to go 1.94 and 1.60? would they need machining to do so?
