Breather Tube On Wrong Side.?

Recently got an engine swap (( last one was burning oil so wouldn't pass emissions )) to just another 305, but this engines valve cover set up is different from my last one... My last one on the drivers side valve cover had the oil cap close to the firewall and pcv valve close to the front of the car and on the passenger side had the breather tube towards the firewall and nothing on the front. With that set up the breather tube went up and connected to the filter in the air cleaner assembly like it's supposed to. The new set up, on the drivers side has the breather tube towards the firewall and oil cap on the front, and on the passengers side it has the pcv valve towards the front and nothing on the backside close to the firewall... After searching a little I've seen ppl saying that the second set up is how its supposed to be, finding out by providing their Vin numbers to dealerships etc... My question is, how am I supposed to connect the breather tube to the air cleaner if it's on the opposite side.?
