What is the sensor that is in the air cleaner? Is it an IAT? Also, where does its wiring come from, as mine is unplugged and im not sure where to look for the plug. Thanks.

Yes. It's more than likely the IAT. Mine was also unhooked when I bought the car, and the connector was wrapped around wires near the firewall by the passenger side valve cover. If I never removed my AC and Heater Control Valve, I wouldn't have found it. All that crap (AC and Heater Hoses) was hiding the hunk of wires coming from the firewall behind the passenger head. Dig in.
