Motors intake has dust in it?

I have a 1986 camaro, that is getting this motor put into it next weekend and while i was degreasing the motor i removed the rags from the holley intake (Its carbed motor) and the hole where thermostat hose neck is at or whatever the thing that sits in the very front of it which is what the picture is of basicaly the hole in intake where that mounts has crap in it like dust and its a little pile rite there. So how do i clean the intake and motors passage ways out that this dust would affect like stick a hose where the neck would go and flush it?
