Idling rough with smoke
I went through over the last few months and did a complete tune up on my 305. New injectors, fuel tank, sending unit, transmission filter, and also removed the AIRsystem, as well as the catalytic converter. Drove it around a few times, and then started on restoring the interior. I went to start it up and go for a joyride the other day (first time in a month), car started right up but it idled really rough and also had lots of bluish smoke coming out of the exhaust (typically meaning oil burn) When I went to fix a small antifreeze leak, I noticed a oil color fluid coming out of the throttle body that smelled like gas. I am assuming this is what is causing it to idle roughly, but I have no idea what I should look at. I also removed the ECM canister and smog pump, and put a 98.6" belt as detailed in a post on here. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
On a side note I am replacing with a ls6 in the spring, so if it is a major engine issue I may not dive into it just yet and save the pennies for the ls swap.
