Chevy High torque starter

Hey everybody. I'm hoping someone could shed some light on how to wire a high torque starter. There are three terminals. The first two are obvious, they are both the same size I believe one is for battery the other runs to the motor itself. The only problem that I have is the spade terminal. The spade terminal on the original starter was a stud with a nut on top that the smallest wire slipped on, then the nut was threaded on. What I have now is just a spade with no stud or nut. How am I supposed to get the small wire on the spade terminal?

Re: Chevy High torque starter

Yeah, you are right. I ended up just cutting the tip of the wire and inserting and crimping a space terminal connector.
