LS1 T-56 ls2 clutch question
I'm planning on replacing my ls1 clutch with a factory ls2 setup, I already have a new LS1 pilot bearing, throwout bearing and slave cylinder. Can I use them with the LS2 clutch setup or do I need to replace them with LS2 specific parts?

Re: LS1 T-56 ls2 clutch question
The pilot is fine; you're not changing the trans. or engine so it won't change. And the pilot is independent of the clutch as far as fitment.
You'd be fine w/ a sizable shim and the LS1 slave but... with it apart, you may as well get a new slave. And you need to verify if shimming is needed anyway.
