car running rich

Hi guys I have a 89 trans am with the 305 tpi my car has been running really rich. sometimes it is really hard to get it started after driving it for a little while. to get it started sometimes I have to hold down the throttle to clear the engines fuel out. after i get it started some times it will not stay running. today I reaplaced the o2 sensor but it still runs rich. the maf sensor looks new, what else could be causing this??

Re: car running rich

Is your your car tpi? If it is then its more likely leaking injectors, give southbay fuel injectors a call.

305 will use #19 and the 350 will use #23 injectors.

Make sure you don't have a plug wire grounding out on the left/ drivers side bank.
