87 IROC-Z Won't Start

I was doing some research on a problem i'm having with my car when I ran across this site, I must say I love it. So I am new to this site. I have an 87 IROC-Z with a 5.7 TPI that is all stock except for K&N air filters and a cat back exhaust system. My problem is I got the car out of storage for the year 2 weeks ago. It was very hard to start but I eventually got it running and it idled fine after about 15 min. I took car out for a drive and had to feather the throttle to get it above 3,000 RPM above that I could hold it to the floor without any backfires, goughs, etc but it felt like it didn't have any power and was falling on it's face. I parked car for the night and the next day started it back up and let it idle for about 30 min, when I got into the car and put it into gear (automatic) it died and I have not been able to get it running since. I checked for fuel pressure in the rail and it didn't have any. I jumped the fuel pump and it runs, but I don't have any voltage in connector above rear axle, but I do have .3 volts when I crank engine over (Gray Wire). I also don't have any voltage at fuel pump relay, I didn't check voltage at relay while cranking engine over. I looked around and didn't see any broken wires or anything anywhere. I'm wondering if there is another fuse somewhere that controls the fuel pump or if I might have a problem with my computer?? Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

On which wire?
At the relay you have a power wire for the pump and a control wire for the pump relay
The control wire only has power for 2 sec when key 1st turned on or when the engine is running
the power wire is hot all the time, even with the key off

The power wire has a fuse under the hood

Re: 87 IROC-Z Won't Start

Hey guys I am having a similar problem with an 87 Z-28 with the 5.0 TPI. I cant get spark. No power to the coil. The car hasn't ran in over 5 years I am working on it for a friend. Had to put a transmission in it and do some motor work since it was seized. I know that the fuel pump is bad because I have power to it but it wont run so that I know is bad. I want to know what it could be that is causing no power to go to the coil because I am at my wits end with this thing.

vetteoz I have checked all wires coming into the coil with the key on, with the engine cranking and with the key off and have no power at all.
