Code 44 lean exhaust, cannot find the problem

Hey guys, I have an 86 trans am tpi, I have been troubleshooting this thing for months and I can't get it to run right. I've thrown so many parts at it and i can't get it running right. I've replaced a boatload of sensors that were throwing codes and it;s a lot better but still running like crap. Please, My gas mielage is like a trucks and theres no power to the car most of the times, it idles horribly on cold start up and i have to drive it for a minute or two to get it to even run without almost dying or stumbling and hesitating. After its warm it runs better but still every time its started will idle roughly and stumble until driven. Also, for some reason when its first started and run, when I go to a stop, itll almost die and after doing this, itll run and not do that, but then run like crap with no power..... I'm out of ideas

Have you done the DTC 44 diagnostics?

Is the 44 the only code showing at present?

I wasn't aware of this test haha, the diagram is a little confusing, sorry, I'm new to this diagnosing stuff. Are you supposed to run the engine with the paper clip in? I replaced the 02 sensor barely a year ago. And it's the only code I'm getting now. Before it would come and go with the tps until I got that replaced and adjusted now it's just showing the code 44 and the ses light wont come on, but the code is stored.

Does the light come on with the Ign ; as in when you 1st turn the key on?

Have you cleared the codes to see if the 44 comes back?

Check the MAF. Only code mine was throwing was the lean code after I replaced some items. Car still has the original O2 (its not coming out) and no more codes. Runs a lot better as well.
